Option 1: Roam Like Home
How it works
1. Make sure your destination is covered
Roam Like HomeTM lets you use the talk, text and data included in your monthly plan just like you would at home. Check your destination to make sure it is covered.
2. Check if you have Roam Like HomeTM
Most Rogers customers with an eligible postpaid mobile plan are automatically enrolled in Roam Like HomeTM.
To double check, text TRAVEL to 222.
3. Turn on roaming and use your phone!
Turn on data roaming on your device. Once you arrive in your destination, you will receive a welcome notification confirming that Roam Like HomeTM is active and ready to use!
- US rates are $16 per calendar day
- International destination rates are $18 per calendar day

Option 2: Roam Like Home Travel Pass
Roam Like Home Travel Passes simplify your travels from the get-go with no need to buy new SIM cards, swap SIMs, or change your number when you’re abroad. With one clear price for 14 or 30 consecutive days, you can stay connected as you travel in the US, Caribbean + Mexico, Europe, or Global destinations (includes 185 Roam Like Home destinations).
How does it work?
• If customers are travelling outside of Canada, they can still purchase a travel pass through self serve or Care during their trip.
• Not available for customers who have opted out of Roam Like Home.
• Travel passes can be purchased up to 60 days prior to travel date.
Customers will need to select their preferred start date, which must be within 60 days from the date of purchase, will only be billed for the add-on after that date.
If plans change, customers have the option to modify the start date or cancel the pass altogether via MyRogers.
If customers modify their selection, the 60-day window will reset based on the new start date.
Note: Once the selected start date has passed, customers will no longer be able to modify or cancel their selection and will be charged for the add-on.
• If a customer roams in destination outside (before and/or after) the travel pass dates, they will be charged the applicable Roam Like Home daily fee and/or pay-per-use fee.
Option 3: Cruise Ship Roaming Options
Roam Like Home Daily Rate
• $18/day on cruise ships (land & sea)
• $16/day in U.S. ports and on land
• Works across 185+ destinations and cruise ships
• Customers must be opted into Roam Like Home before travel
• RLH international daily rates are available and include roaming coverage on eligible cruise ships.
Cruise Ship Travel Pass Add-on
• $100 for 7 days
• Covers Canada, U.S., Mexico, Caribbean & cruise ships
• Works on select land destinations (USA, Caribbean and Mexico) and sea (international waters)
• Data throttled after 1GB per 24 hours on cruise ships
• For customers travelling on cruises outside of the US, Mexico & Caribbean,

Option 4: Travel Plans
Travel to the US often?
Select a Canada & US calling plan which includes US Roaming, and you will not be charged the $16/day Roam Like Home fee for visits to the United States.
1,000 Long Distance Minutes
Many of our plans also include 1,000 long distance minutes. Here is the list of destinations you can call from Canada: 1,000 international long-distance minutes from Canada to U.S., India, China + Hong Kong (excluding Macau and Taiwan), the United Kingdom, Mexico, and Bangladesh.
