It’s easier than ever to bring your existing Canadian phone number to Rogers from another service provider! Switching to Rogers while keeping your existing phone number is a straightforward process, ensuring uninterrupted service and seamless communication.
Understanding Number Porting
Number porting allows you to transfer your phone number from your current provider to Rogers. This service is available for both personal and eligible business accounts. Keeping your number ensures continuity and is highly recommended for customers joining through the Rogers Preferred Program at Fraser Valley Wireless.
Important: Your existing line is still active, and you will be paying for 2 services until you complete this port. Upon completing the port, the number will transfer within 1 hour and your existing service will cancel automatically.
- Do NOT complete this port until you are in possession of your new SIM.
- You will receive a text message confirmation that the port has been completed.
- Your existing number will replace your Rogers temporary number on the Rogers network.
FOR BYOD PORTINS - Keep the old SIM in your phone until you complete the request, you will receive a text message requesting permission to port. You must accept this before changing the SIM on your old device.
