1. What is Rogers Xfinity App TV?
It is an entertainment content plan that offers a variety of live and on-demand channels, as well as a Netflix Standard with ads subscription.
2. Does it require downloading a new App?
App TV is delivered through the Rogers Xfinity Stream app and does not require a new app. This is the same app that existing Rogers Xfinity TV and Rogers Xfinity Streaming customers can access. The content
available in the app varies depending on the customer’s subscription. Once the customer signs in with their MyRogers/MyShaw they will see the content to which they are subscribed.
3. What content is included with App TV?

4. How and where can I watch App TV content?
Download the Rogers Xfinity Stream app to watch the 40+ channels + 20 free ad-supported channels, and download the Netflix app to watch Netflix content. The Rogers Xfinity Stream app can be downloaded on mobile (from app stores), tablet (from app stores), cast on your TV through AirPlay, or chromecast, downloaded on Fire devices (from Amazon playstore), and watched online at rogersxfinitystream.rogers.com or rogersxfinitystream.shaw.ca. Customers can watch it at
home and on the go.
(Optional): App TV content can be accessed on Rogers Xfinity Stream box (EntOS XiOne box) which is
included with Rogers Xfinity Streaming. The app is already pre-loaded on the box and the content is
available if subscribed to the AppTV plan.

Yes! They can watch using their wireless data package or by connecting to any WiFi network. Content is not location restricted so the lineup is available throughout Canada for all App TV customers. For example, customers in in Ottawa will have access to both Citytv Toronto and Citytv Montreal. Customers traveling outside Canada will not be able to access their content.
9. How can customers access On Demand content on Rogers Xfinity Stream app for App TV content package?
App TV customers can access On Demand content the same way that current Rogers Xfinity TV customers
do, from the Rogers Xfinity Stream app. To access On Demand content, select “Browse,” then the “Movies”
tile, scroll to “Movies On Demand,” select “View All,” and choose the movie.
10. How can customers access Tech Support if they need it?

For any issues with Netflix, customers will need to contact Netflix customer support.

What are the benefits of combining Rogers Xfinity App TV and Rogers Xfinity Streaming?Customers who bundle App TV and Rogers Xfinity Streaming will enjoy all the great content offered within the App TV package, while also enjoying the features included with Rogers Xfinity Streaming delivered through the Rogers Xfinity Stream box. 12. How will new customers set up their Netflix accounts?
New customers will be sent an email from Rogers asking them to sign in to their MyRogers/MyShaw account in order to activate their Netflix subscription or link their existing Netflix account. Customers will also receive an email from Netflix that will prompt the customer to activate. If the customer activates through Netflix email, they will bypass logging into MyRogers/MyShaw and will kick off the first step in their Netflix activation process.
13. What happens if a customer has an existing Netflix account?
Customers with an existing Netflix account will be able to link it to their App TV subscription by simply using their current Netflix credentials after following the link to set up their account. If they have a tier higher than Standard with ads, they will pay the difference in price on their Rogers invoice.
14. How can customers with existing Netflix accounts link them to their Rogers account?
After setting up their MyRogers/MyShaw account, customers will need to navigate to the “Subscriptions” tab and select “Go to Netflix,” after which they will be redirected to Netflix to complete their subscription.
Customers with an existing Netflix account, but a different email address from their MyRogers/MyShaw
email, can select “link a different account” to enter their existing credentials to link to their App TV account.
15. Can customers upgrade their Netflix tier with App TV?
Yes, customers can upgrade to either Netflix Standard or Netflix Premium and pay the difference on their
Rogers invoice. Upgrading tiers is available through MyRogers/MyShaw or by contacting customer support.
For MyRogers, follow the below steps:
1. Log in to MyRogers
2. In the Overview screen, go to the Your subscriptions section.
3. Select Manage beside the Netflix logo.
4. Select Show all plans under the Change Netflix plan section.
5. Select the Netflix plan you want.
For MyShaw, follow the below steps:
1. Log in to My Shaw
2. In the My Services screen, select the Subscriptions tab.
3. In the Netflix section, select Manage Netflix account
4. Select Choose plan beside the Netflix plan you want.
16. How many streams can customers play at the same
time?
App TV customers can have up to 2 streams playing at the same time, in and out of their homes.
