Wireless updates: Changes to Setup Fees

Effective June 12, aligned with Canadian Radio-television and Telecommunications Commission (CRTC) requirements, certain activation fees will no longer be charged. 

There may still be charges for device financing balances, and early cancellation.

Effective June 12, 2026, the following fees will no longer be charged:
• Setup Service Fee (SSF)
• Price Plan Change (PPC) fee
• chatr Connection (Activation) Fee

The changes above apply to Rogers and Fido Consumer customers (including 5GHI & Wireless Home Phone), chatr customers, Rogers Preferred Program customers, and Rogers Business Regular (SOHO/Small Business) customers (where applicable).
