What is the Rogers Preferred Program?
Offer Eligibility
The Rogers Preferred Program is only available to the employees or members of eligible organizations, however you can add your family members to your account. You can have up to 10 active lines, with the main condition being the eligible member remains the account holder. So go ahead, share with your family and friends!
Offer Availability
This offer is not available in stores. Orders must be placed through your dedicated Account Manager.
The offer you are eligible for is based on your Employment or Membership to eligible Preferred Program partners. You may be asked to verify your proof of Employment or Membership through your work email address or by providing email documentation. If you are unable to provide one of the following, please reach out one of our account managers and we will be happy to assist.
For Employee eligibility, this includes one of the following, but is not limited to:
- paystub, work email,
- work ID badge with company logo
- letter of employment.
For Member and Association eligibility, this includes one of the following, but is not limited to:
- Membership ID card
- Booking references
- Custom proof of membership - reach out to our account representative for more information
For Community based eligibility, this includes one of the following, but is not limited to:
- Status card
All orders are subject to a secure personal credit check as per the Rogers Terms & Conditions. If you already have a Rogers post-paid account and are the authorized account holder, a credit check may not be required.
Price Guarantee
Prices and offers are subject to change without notice. While we do our best to ensure the accuracy of our eCommerce platform, we will only be able to honor pricing that is available to us. Should an order be placed with ineligible plan option, your order will be cancelled and you will be notified.
If an order is placed while an offer is in market, but said offer changes before activation or delivery, we will honor the price of the placed order.
Price Match
If you place an order and the price changes within 10 days, you can reach out to us at any time to match the price. Simply reach out to our team and request a review of your account - if the conditions remain the same with only a difference (sale) of plan or device, we will be able to honor the lower rate.
Rogers Passcodes
Only customers with valid passcodes can activate RPP plans. These passcodes are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. These passcodes are redeemable once and cannot be reused or transferred to someone else.
Preferred Program Enrollment Fee
New Customers: There is no enrollment fee for Customers who create a new account directly on the Preferred Program.
Existing Customers: A one-time $75 fee will be charged to an existing account to transfer an existing account into the RPP program; fees are account based, and no longer charged per line.
Customers will only be eligible to migrate to the Rogers Preferred Program pricing after 180 days into their term. This fee applies to all existing consumer customers migrating to RPP pricing when completing PPC and BYOD transactions.
There is no additional charge if the customer wants to move back to consumer pricing.
Activation, Upgrade and Price Plan Change options
Pricing online will only reflect Activation or Upgrade pricing. We are unable to display price plan change options as these are unique to your account. Please reach out to an account manager and we will need to look into your account before providing options. More information on plan changes can be found here.
A number of factors impact your ability to change your plan. These include, but are not limited to:
- remaining term on your account
- remaining device balance
- offers in market at the time
Plan change options are not BYOD. BYOD represents a new activation when you bring your own device to Rogers from another carrier.
Taxes are extra from all promotional material.
Data allotment on Rogers Plans with Roaming
CAN/US plans - Data included with your plan are to be used on the Rogers Network, in an Extended Coverage area, in the U.S., excluding calls made through Call Forwarding, Video Calling or similar services. Plan includes calls from Canada and the U.S to Canadian and U.S. numbers only (calls from Canada to Puerto Rico and the U.S Virgin Islands are not included). Includes unlimited text/picture/ video messages sent from Canada and the U.S. to Canadian and U.S. mobile numbers and received texts from anywhere. Includes messages sent from Canada and the U.S to email addresses. Sent/received premium texts (alerts, messages related to content and promotions), sent international text/picture/video messages and sent/received text/picture/video messages (as applicable) while roaming outside the U.S. are not included and charged at applicable rates. Mexico and International Roaming plans feature similar limitations, please review with your Account Manager for more details.
Data limitation - Once you have reached the high-speed data allotment of your plan, you will continue to have access to data services with no overage beyond the high-speed data allotment at a reduced speed of up to 512 kilobits per second (for both upload and download) until the end of your current billing cycle. Applications such as email, web browsing, apps, and audio/video streaming will continue to function at a reduced speed which will likely impact your experience. 5G/5G+network access requires a compatible device and a 5G SIM card in a covered area. In all cases, usage is subject to the Rogers Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
Sharing data - sharable plans increase your data allotment to an account level. More information can be found here.
Autopay Discount
$5/mo. Auto-Pay Discount available with eligible plans (must be set up on account and remain active to get discount). Discount will end if you move to an ineligible plan or cancel Automatic Payments. If you remove Automatic Payments and re-add it to your account you will get the same discount tied to the wireless plan you subscribed to. More information can be found here.
Device Protection Discount
30% off Device Protection applies for Rogers Preferred Program customers when activating an eligible in market Rogers Preferred Program mobile plan. Discount removed if you switch to an ineligible mobile plan, current price of the tier selected will apply thereafter. More information can be found here.
