Who qualifies for the Rogers Preferred Program?

Many more people qualify than expect to. The Rogers Preferred Program is open to employees of participating organizations and members of participating groups. If you’re not sure, ask us — we’ll check every route for you.

You may qualify through where you work

• Full-time and part-time employees of participating organizations qualify.
• This includes government employees, and people who work for large companies, health authorities, school boards and many other employers across Canada.
• Work for a department, agency or company that’s part of a larger organization? You may qualify through the larger organization. For example, a provincial agency or a crown corporation can be covered by its provincial government.

You may qualify through a membership

Members of these groups can qualify, even if their employer isn’t part of the program:

• UBC alumni, SFU alumni and other alumni associations
• Canadian Snowbird Association (CSA) members — see CSA members: your Rogers Preferred Program benefit
• Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade members
• Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA Canada) members
• CIP members
• Real estate board and association members across Canada
• GoodLife Fitness members
• First Nations status cardholders
• SPC cardholders
• Disney+ subscribers
• TD customers
• Students at select schools and universities

This isn’t the full list. We work with hundreds of organizations and associations, and we add new groups as they join the program. If yours isn’t here, ask us.

How to check

1. Go to order.fvwireless.com and search for your organization.
2. If it’s listed, select it to see your plans and pricing.
3. If it’s not listed, contact us. We’ll look for other ways you qualify, and we can ask Rogers to add your organization.

What you may be asked for

To confirm you qualify, you may need a work email address or proof of employment or membership, like a recent pay stub or membership card. Rogers re-confirms eligibility every 24 months when you upgrade your phone, change your plan or add a line.

The account needs to be in your name

Preferred Program pricing belongs to the person who qualifies, so the Rogers account needs to be in that person’s name. If your line is on someone else’s account — for example, a parent’s — we can help you move it to your own account. See Transfer of Responsibility.
